Written, recorded and produced by Acle Kahney, TesseracT began life in 2003. Created entirely in a bedroom in England after having passed through many phases, it aims to convey different moods using unique and original methods. It captures melodic, tense ambience mixed with grinding grooves and rhythms. TesseracT began life as an instrumental solo project. To an extent it still is however the addition of Mos, Jay, Metal, Julien and Abi can now turn the project into a full on band.
The band are currently working on a 2 track single which was partly recorded at Sphere Studios, London which has had clients such as Queen, Mariah Carey, Razorlight, Duran Duran and many more. The single is to be released soon, before the debut album. Stef Broks (drummer of dutch band Textures) will possibly be involved in the recording of the album.
Musical inspirations come from artists such as Meshuggah, Pink Floyd, Martin Grech, Sol Niger, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley and Textures.
